Zinc plating
Why zinc coatings?
![]() | The biggest consumer of steel in the world is rust! Your workpieces can be sufficiently protected against corrosion thanks to zinc plating, which applies zinc layers of between 5 and 30 µm thickness, depending on requirements. The advantages of zinc plating:

Which after-treatment?
The correct after-treatments first of all play a decisive role in the appearance of your zinc-plated workpieces and their resistance to white rust. They, in conjunction with a suitable thickness of zinc plating, ultimately result in the high level of protection against red rust. With the appropriate after-treatment, it is also possible to achieve decorative layers, e.g. silver-coloured (transparent) or black, as well as functional layers, such as ones with defined coefficients of friction.
