Temp Railway Black

Great looks and highly functional

Temp Railway Black - Naturally Cr VI-free

Temp Railway Black is the combination of:

  • A top-quality electroplated ZnNi layer
  • And a highly-decorative organic topcoat
temprailwayblack1

With this process sequence we guarantee on cathodically active substrates (ZnNi) up to 1000 hours of protection against base metal corrosion in the salt spray test according to DIN 50021.

The combination of layers is particularly suitable for bulk articles, such as nuts, bolts, and many types of turned, punched and deep-drawn parts.

The Temp Railway Black coating system achieves its optimum properties at a layer thickness of 8-20 µm and meets the requirements of the automotive and electrical industries.

A lubricant specially for threaded parts is integrated in the coating system. It ensures that the coefficients of friction required by the end users are in very many cases achieved without additional lubrication.

Compared to many another method of corrosion protection – even from the area of flake coatings –Temp Railway Black features a very good level of abrasion resistance. This ensures that the risk of damage to the coating during transportation, sorting and weighing as well as during final assembly is reduced quite considerably.

We would be pleased to apply sample coatings to your components for you.
